Helen, Kiln House Arts
Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. As a qualified teacher and SENDCo, I have spent over 25 years helping people discover their confidence, develop new skills and enjoy the process of learning. A number of years ago, I discovered pottery, and I was completely hooked. What began as a curiosity quickly became a passion. There is something incredibly satisfying about taking a simple lump of clay and transforming it into something beautiful, functional and completely unique.
Today, I work from my own home studio, where I’ve created a welcoming, relaxed and friendly space for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy being creative . I offer a range of workshops, including:
– Hand-building with clay and holiday workshops
– Pottery wheel throwing
– Glazing workshops
– Fused glass workshops
As well as regular classes, I also offer one-to-one tuition, small group sessions and bespoke workshops if there’s a particular technique or project you’d like to explore.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, looking for a mindful hobby or simply wanting to try something different, I’d love to help you create something you’ll be proud of.
I’d love to welcome you to my studio and share the joy of creating with clay and glass. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, a unique experience or simply a few hours to switch off and make something with your own hands, there’s a place for you here.
